Inaugural Festival Showcases Best of Young Filmmaking Talent

Friday June 6th saw more than 1,000 children visit the first Children's International Film Festival with their schools, family and friends. Workshops run by Access NFTS, BAFTA, Into Film and Ciné Schools introduced filmmaking and filmmaking skills to the youngsters.
A sequence of screenings showcased films from all over the UK as well as Ukraine, Cambodia and Nepal to audiences in the Rose Theatre in Kingston.

The Festival closed with an incredible line up of Awards presenters highlighting the amazing work of the children. They shared their stories of how they got into the film world and announced our winners.

It was an amazing day and we can't wait to get started next year!
