Our vision is one of inclusion and empowerment. We bring the Children's International Film Festival to host cities and work with partners locally to drive excitement and awareness of filmmaking, screen arts and storytelling to communities across the UK and beyond.

To this end, the International Film Festival will leave behind a legacy of engagement and celebration that we hope will relight each year in our host towns and cities. Kingston upon Thames welcomed us in 2025 and in 2026 a Kingston Children's Film Festival will celebrate the creativity and ingenuity of young filmmakers from across London.

Each year a new community will spark into life, creating, sharing and celebrating their stories and how they have told them. Hastings is now and next year and on.

In 2027 the International Festival will head to Yorkshire. Plans are in motion already and there will be more to come on that in the Autumn. To find out more about the legacy event in Kingston this year please click the button below.​​
