The National Film and Television School will be facilitating some amazing workshops at the Children’s International Film Festival this year. As a Friend of the Festival it will be running model making workshops for school groups. It will have a presence throughout the day and across several events in the programme.
Access NFTS will also have alumnae there in the afternoon to give our Soundtrack of the Year award at our Gala Event on the 6th of June. A very special guest will be announcing our nominees and winner.
“At the National Film and Television School, we firmly believe a career in the screen arts industries can be a reality for anyone, regardless of background, experience, or circumstance. We also believe young people have incredible stories to tell through both their experiences and creative imaginations. This boundless imagination will be recognised and elevated through this fantastic film festival. An event that provides a voice for, and a spotlight on, the bold and diverse narratives of school age children, and an inspirational experience for the audience watching. We are thrilled to support The Children’s International Film Festival with this incredible platform, one that shares our aim to encourage and champion the next generation of storytellers,” Joe Bradbury-Walters, Head of Outreach, National Film and Television School
