Creative Youth Become Official Charity Partner of The Children’s International Film Festival 2025

Kingston-Upon-Thames based charity, Creative Youth, will be the official charity Partner of the Children’s International Film Festival (CIFF) 2025. A champion of both the arts and young people, Creative Youth will provide some exciting workshops for school children coming to the Film Festival, centred around creativity in the pre-production process.

“The Children’s International film festival is a hugely exciting event coming to Kingston this June. We are super proud to be part of the festival, both in delivering creative sessions for schools attending the festival and as a platform to champion youth creativity. Film is an incredible medium through which young people can innovate and show off their creative skills. The festival will allow us to raise awareness of the Charity’s work in Kingston and beyond,” stated Archie O’Neill, Co-Director, Creative Youth.

“Our mission is to champion the creativity of young people all over the World. Creative Youth is a natural partner for us, and we will be working closely with them to offer young people an incredible experience at the Children’s International Film Festival on June 6th. But it won’t stop there. We are looking forward to continuing what we start this year in Kingston and build, with Creative Youth, a real centre of excellence for young filmmakers here in South West London,” said George Young, Founder, The Children’s International Film Festival.

Creative Youth will host and run workshops focusing on the pre-production elements of filmmaking for schools coming to CIFF. The session will be hosted at FUSEBOX on the riverside in Kingston on June 6th, 2025. In future years the Charity will work with the CIFF team and the Cine Schools team to celebrate innovative and creative film projects produced in Kingston by young people from across the borough.
