Into Film is bringing the magic of filmmaking to the Children’s International Film Festival!

On 6th of June, Into Film will be running workshops for school children at the Children’s International Film Festival. Sessions will featuring some key activities from its Film Buff Challenge, Future Filmmakers resource. Young creatives will be able to dive into hands-on filmmaker sessions—exploring shot sizes, storyboarding, scriptwriting, and more. It’s an unforgettable opportunity to spark imaginations and kick-start the next generation of storytellers.

Into Film is the UK’s leading charity for film in education and the community. It provides screen industry careers information and advice, supporting young filmmakers, and bringing the power of moving image storytelling into classroom teaching. It also runs the annual Into Film Festival which enables more than 330,000 pupils to visit the cinema for free as well as the Into Film Awards - the UK’s leading showcase for young filmmaking talent.
The core Into Film programme is free for UK state schools, colleges, and other youth settings, thanks to support from the BFI, awarding National Lottery good cause funding, and through other key funders including Cinema First and Northern Ireland Screen.
