PHASE Worldwide announced as official Festival charity

Our enrichment partner PHASE Worldwide has been invited to run an event at the inaugural Children’s International Film Festival with our partners, the Kingston International Film Festival, making them the official charity for its festival weekend.

PHASE Worldwide will be kicking off The Children’s International Film Festival this year on 6th June from 10.30 at The Rose Theatre with Rosie Swale Pope. The global adventurer is recognised as one of the world’s most courageous, gutsy women of her generation.  She is the only person in history, man or woman, to have undertaken an epic solo, unsupported run around our world – over 20,000 miles facing extreme danger, bitter Siberian winters, wolves, axe men and desolate

loneliness over nearly five years.

Last year, Rosie was the subject of our Thomson House Film Academy documentary which will be shown at the event along with a short film made by students from a school in Rugin, Nepal. This is a not-to-be-missed event celebrating one of the world’s most impressive individuals.
