Submit a film made by under 16s to be included in the Children's International Film Festival

Film submissions are open to schools from anywhere in the world. Films submitted to the Festival will be considered for screening at the Rose Theatre in Kingston upon Thames, here in the UK during the Festival. Submissions can also be considered for our awards, which will be given out on the evening of the 6th of June, 2025. The awards gala will be available to stream into classrooms. The recording will also be available after the event for those of you unable to be online for the live event.

Entering your own, original film into the Festival is free to all schools. Filmmakers need to be aged under 16 when they completed the film.

We ask that all relevant release forms for your film to be shown at the Festival are in place and by submitting your film to us you are confirming this is the case.

Please share your film with us using WeTransfer.com. When uploading be sure to send to info@ciffest.org. Should you have any questions regarding eligibility, the submissions process or about the Festival more generally please don't hesitate to get in touch on the email above or through our Contact Page.
